My Foreign Buddies

I'm glad, that i become a part of SCORE--my research exchange organization. though i haven't had a chance to go abroad, but having foreign buddies is "really something" for me (lol)

Last year (ouch, i've just realize that it has been 2012 rite now -_-) we got a big hit, 2 years ago, UNS only got 1 incoming student from german, last year we got 7! *it exactly when i became SCORE leader -_-
Usually incoming students come every holidays, during winter/summer holidays (it's about January, or July)

Manal (Oman), Anna and Kasia (Poland)

July 2011 : Anna and Kasia are 2 besties, they are last year-medical student from Poland. And Manal from Oman, ofcourse she's muslim, 2 years older than me.

August 2011 : This is the real thing in the world, i regret the most! We had 3 incoming students last August, (AND ONE OF THEM WAS FROM JAPAN!), but coz i've been exhausted from taking care July's incomings + It's exactly fasting month holiday + there's an ANNOYING JERK (one of my... friend?) that i can't take care for this month's incoming :((( all members said that this month is the BEST ROCKING incoming (since all still young).

September 2011 : Because all SCORE member has been exhausted already, plus only 1 incoming left PLUS september, the college has started.... so, if i could say Xenia is the most abandoned incoming :|

Only me (the leader) and mbak ami who SHOULD took care for her. First i feel awkward toward her, i dunno what to do with only one foreign, plus i dunno what to SAY, since at start, she's very calm.

Me : "Hei Xenia! How are you? blablabla *welcome speech* when did you arrived?"

Her : "ow, thanks..yesterday"

Me : " Ow yeah, did you transit to Jogja first?"

Her : " Yeah "

*i tried hard to make conversation, till the point... i can't use my creativity*

Me : " so... hmm.. have you had your brekfast?? we have this and that, delicious enough for breakfast!" (we were in canteen)

Her : "Oh, i have had my breakfast"

Me : .......... *blank* HELP THIS IS REALLY DIFFERENT WITH MY PREVIOUS TALKATIVE INCOMINGS!

hahaha, it still laughable moment..... but by the time we through together, since there's only mbak ami and me, she's become dependable to us. we can said that we've been sooo close. she's only 1 year older than me.. we talk many things, share many things, and i learned a lot of things about greece.
And i could say that, i never regret to take care for her, in fact she's so GOKIL and ROCKS, and the most important thing is she's very loyal buddy. we still keep in touch until now, she even sent me christmast box
